goodnight sweet heart

The whole thing was a blur, a liquor-soaked diversion from carrying around a broken heart wrapped in rice paper and twine. Love isn't supposed to be painful, nor is it supposed to be taxing and now it is both at once and it continues to intensify with each passing fractured beat. So here's to the return of the lonely, here's to living the days as an only. Here's to the rest of the world, kids. Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

Oaxaca in my Mind

Its incredible how some places retain an aura of spirituality independently of the time of human or animal habitation, or it may be that the places are inherintly magical and humans merely decided to settle there for that purpose? Regardles of the case Oaxaca eneloped me with its mysteries this weekend.
I attended a ceremony uniting two people, it had little or no formal religious inuendos, which would have just tainted the whole experience. I was amazed at the power that the love these two people have for each other, combined with the respect, admiration and support of the guests and family; and how it radiated into the warm Oaxacan night.

The most brilliant words I've ever written

"Everyone left so I ate a turkey sandwich and passed out."
And here's to Friday. The end of the work week. The beginning of the fun week. The end of yet another tumultuous span of days, leading into those which are not accounted for. And these are the days for which we live? TGIF? What the fuck are you trying to tell me? That it won't get any better or any worse, just more and more numb? Well, that's alright with me I guess.

The apocolypse is at hand...

Welcome to the end of the world, kids. Let's just sit back and enjoy. There are tornado warnings stretching the coast of California and I'm here amongst rock falls and avalanches, mudslides and emotional ills just trying to get by like any other motherfucker... Dick deep in the battle and hoping to make it through just one more day. Such is the life of a true Hollywood p.i.m.p. What else can I say but goodbye, Dr. Gonzo.

Fear of an Ofo Planet

Sci Fi was the theme, interesting how many people came up to me with questions like: "Ofo are Carebears sci fi?"
In the end it all turned out, 29 Januarys have gone by
Same addictions
Same old fears
