Its incredible how some places retain an aura of spirituality independently of the time of human or animal habitation, or it may be that the places are inherintly magical and humans merely decided to settle there for that purpose? I attended a ceremony uniting two people, it had little or no formal religious inuendos, which would have just tainted the whole experience. I was amazed at the power that the love these two people have for each other, combined with the respect, admiration and support of the guests and family; and how it radiated into the warm Oaxacan night.
